Every day, Soon Seong, 50, sets out with his 80-year-old mother to collect recyclable materials for a living. After collecting discarded items each morning, he carefully sorts them before selling them at the recycling centre.
His wishes are simple: two mattresses, a fan, and assistance with basic environmental clean-up around the house. For Ah Seong, these are not luxuries but the foundation of a safer and more comfortable home.
